Our Story
Or-Fil Inc. was founded on a strong commitment to tradition and generational know-how.
In 1955, Mr. Orlando Filice leaves his hometown of Calabria in southern Italy where his father owns a small butcher shop to come to Canada and work as a butcher himself. Mr. Orlando Filice always wanted to follow in his father's footsteps and have his own business and in 1970, seeing as he knew all the facets of the business, he decided to found Les Viandes Or-Fil Meats Inc.
Today, Or-Fil Inc. remains very much a family business with the second generation expanding the Or-Fil Inc. family to include: Déli-Porc Inc., S.A.C. 2000, L.G Hébert & Fils Ltée all here to serve your pork related needs!
Our size gives a much greater degree of flexibility to be able to seamlessly shift our production line and customize our products to each customer's exacting specifications.
We ensure that product quality and integrity is consistent throughout our processes so that each and every final customer has a memorable and delightful experience.
